I lost my keys to my portable safe so there was no keys to copy. They were able to make 2 replacement keys in under 5 minutes that worked perfectly. Expert Locksmiths!

I wish I had called Bowles first...Family owned, professional full service locksmith, will repair vs replace if possible, is customer oriented, friendly, and appreciates your business, all at a fair cost.Had another Locksmith on 11/13/25 who "fixed" a stuck key in Marks mortise lock & installed a new mortise lock on another door that I had purchased thru Lowes. Saturday morning, the "fixed" lock locked me out & the other new lock installed was not latching. Called that locksmith office back, they would not return until Tuesday!!!Lesson learned! Had I ignored some of the seemingly unfounded reviews, I would've have called Bowles first.Not only did they answer my call on Saturday and agree to come after the service calls he was committed to, he talked me thru getting my stuck door open, kept me posted, arrived within a couple hours, got both door lock issues resolved, cut a rusted padlock on a gate, rekeyed, and made keys on site within his quote. This is what a true locksmith service looks like.Thank you so much for making it easy with little effort required on our part.You are a credit to your trade!Pat E.

These folks were so busy and I got so frustrated that they were never going to get to my new keypad on my office door. It took a tad longer than expected, but the craftsmanship and detail was perfect. The price was fair. I am a Facility Manager and I will hire them anytime I have door issues in Louisville. Nice family business that could use a couple more employees, but they are great at what they do and I am not sure they ever sleep.

I usually don't write reviews for companies, but the employees of Bowles Locksmith of valley station, deserve a huge shout out on their exceptional service... The man and woman who showed up on my jobsite were curtious, quick, very friendly and professional as would be expected.. I was highly pleased with the workmanship and I was able to not interrupt any part of my workday because they were able to do everything I needed within my breaktime! super excited about that... I needed replacement key fobs for my car, key ignition. They cut the keys and programmed 2 fobs quickly and a great price. They answer the phone every time I’ve called. Same day appointment for the fobs and they’re neighborly friendly. Highly recommend.

Lonnie Bowles installed a deadbolt for me on one of the doors at my home and did a wonderful job. He communicated well with me when we were arranging a time for him to come to my house. I had previously used his services at his office to get a spare key fob made for my car (and it works great!). I would definitely recommend Bowles Locksmith service.

After being jerked all around this morning trying to figure out why my key will not turn in my ignition... Between Google and people talking in my ears about what they think it is... I called a repair shop down the road and they were real busy and he suggested I go to Bowels Locksmith...It was such a blessing in disguise and an answer to my prayers!Attentive service with a smile! Lonnie went above and beyond to troubleshoot and figure out what my issue was... In the process he had to make a security key, and he also made a chip key to see if it would help until we get a new lock cylinder... As we were finishing up he handed me the keys and said go ahead and take these and when you get the part come back and see me and I will install it for you... So how much do I owe for the keys? He said nothing... Just come back when you get the part and I will put it in for for the price we had discussed, I was totally astounded...They have my business for the rest of my days!It's local businesses like this that we definitely need support!I give them five stars a million times!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have been on the run all day today. Went to a mechanic shop for a water heater for my car. Mechanic told me that he couldn't fix the key ignition because the key would not come out of the ignition. The key ignition was working fine when I dropped off the car. I couldn't understand why the key ignition was messed up. I ended up going to three different shops to have the key ignition looked at. One guy even told me that it was going to cost $864 for a whole console. Another guy said it would cost $280 to get it fixed. I ended up going to Willien Automotive Shop on Dixie highway who recommended Bowls Locksmith. The team at Bowls Locksmith Lonnie and Marissa were two of the sweetest people. They were very considerate to my needs and to the things that I explain to them about the car. Lonnie was very thorough and determined to get my key out of the car ignition. He succeeded and did not charge me and astronomical price. I was there maybe 30 minutes. Lonnie knew exactly what he was doing! He didn't hesitate to never give up. Before I left I ended up getting a spare house key made for my house. Bowles locksmith 24-hour emergency service opened Monday through Friday 10:00 to 5:00 Saturday by appointment only. I will recommend them and I will continue to keep going to them if I ever need their service in the future! Thank you so much!!

We had an issue with our Car's key FOB so I went Bowles. They messed with it for a couple minutes and told me that an internal piece had come loose and was jamming the buttons. They tested all the functions with me and the car. Everything worked and when I asked how much it would cost, they told me no charge!Great service!

Swift and reliable service. I just needed 2 keys copied for my 03' E-450 Truck. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes, and I would recommend it to anyone. Simple keys are fast and cheap, while the FOBs and more unique keys will be a bit more expensive, but this shop knows what they are doing. Thanks Y'all!

Mr Bowles the owner of the company is the one that came to my house and took care of my situation. He is extremely nice and paid attention to every detail regarding my 2 locks. I found out that his wife is the one that works in the office and she is very nice and helpful as well.I would strongly recommend you use this company for all your locksmith jobs.I was not paid anything to leave this review

I received personable, efficient, and very reasonably priced service at Bowles Valley Station location today. I had 2 laser cut keys made and programmed for my Acura MDX. I highly recommend Bowles for anything that requires a locksmith. They’ve been in business for years and are very good at what they do.

They were the cheapest I found after calling 20 other businesses. On top of that, they were the first business to mention the fact that I could get a fobless-Key made for about an 1/8th the price of the flipkey.They were honest, upfront, and direct. I called and a human being answered. I said I need a key, I need it cut and programmed as well, gave em the make and model, and they gave me a price almost immediately.Now, there were about ten other businesses I called they had automated machine... nothings worse then button clicking a robot. About 4 of those business were disgruntled with me because I spoke english, and I was stuck trying to decipher whatever they were saying. Anyways.Point being.Great business to deal with.Lowest price. Most honest and direct. And my key works, incase you were wondering.
